How to get rid of SPAM -- or at least lessen the problem for FREE

There are several tools available to help get rid of the volume of SPAM in your life. Hallelujah! The first two are tool bars that include free popup blockers and some other cool features.

The one I cannot live without is the Google toolbar. It has great features like Google search, similar site links, search the current page, a blog creator, and a killer pop-up blocker.

I use mine every day and feel lost on a computer without it. The toolbar attaches to your current address and buttons on Internet Explorer and Google lets you select the features that you want.

The Alexa toolbar also has features to let you know information about the sites you visit. It also includes a search link to Amazon for those who shop Amazon regularly.

Again, the Alexa toolbar includes a pop-up blocker, natch. Plus you can do a search using Google on this toolbar enhanced with Alexa's site information - always handy.
